We are planning to design and install new stained-glass windows to beautify our church! We are working with Mellini Art Glass and Mosaics from Florence, Italy. They will design and create the windows in Italy and come over to install them at Sacred Hearts.

The windows will depict saints from the Church’s history who have a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary. The sample design shows St. John Eudes and St. Francis Xavier Cabrini.

Our current goal is to raise the funds for these windows. The total cost for design, labor, materials, and installation comes out to $330,000 for the nine windows, or roughly $37,000 each. We have already received a generous anonymous donation of $100,000 for the project, and have received a pledge for the full cost of another window.

For a project this size, the Diocese of Columbus would like to see 100% of the costs pledged and at least 50% of the money in-hand before beginning work. If you are willing to help us beautify our church space, please make a pledge, whether a one-time gift or in multiple installments. You may write a check to Sacred Hearts Church and write “stained-glass windows” in the memo line and put it in the collection basket or drop it off in the office. Contact Fr.
